The family of Clara Heumphreus of Cambridge, Neb., is requesting a card shower in honor of her 85th birthday on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018. Clara was born near Danbury, Neb., and Southwest Nebraska has been her primary home ever since. Her family extends to Missouri (son, Paul and wife, LeAnn Heumphreus, with three grandsons - Troy, Aaron, and Carson), Tennessee/North and South Carolina (daughter, Lea and husband, Randy Kroll, with two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren, Toni and Josh May and their child, Zander, and Casey and Kyle Kelly and their child, Kota), Iowa (niece, Jane and husband, Pat McCoy), across Nebraska (brothers-in-law, Jon Heumphreus and Eugene Woodhead and their families), and includes kin and friends from all across Nebraska and Colorado. Memories of other family members include Bob (husband), Paul and Opal Grosch (parents), Dick Grosch (brother), and Jolene Woodhead, Mike and Gary Heumphreus (in-laws).
