Bison run record to 9-3 with big win
McCOOK, Neb. — Alex Anthony’s three-for-three hitting with three RBIs sent the Hermann-Jones Bison rumbling to an 11-1 home win over Gothenburg Tuesday evening.
Anthony doubled and singled twice which helped Bison boys round bases throughout this ninth win of the season.
Gothenburg only trailed 4-1 until a seven-run H-J fourth finished any potential drama and enforced the mercy rule.
Wild pitching proved to be a big help since Gothenburg actually outhit the Bison, 5-4.
