Bulls fight off Rattlers at Felling

McCOOK, Neb. — The Pfeffer Service Bulls got out to a five-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 7-6 victory over the Community Hospital Timber Rattlers on Wednesday.

The Pfeffer Service Bulls earned the victory despite allowing the Community Hospital Timber Rattlers to score six runs in the fourth inning.

The Rattlers’ onslaught featured RBIs from Jack Baker, Caiden Hanson and Redford Crocker in the inning.

The Pfeffer Service Bulls got things started in the first inning. Kale Sattler drew a walk, scoring one run.

Bryson Gullion got the start for the Pfeffer Service Bulls. He allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Tate Schafer led things off on the mound for the Community Hospital Timber Rattlers. He allowed four runs on zero hits.

Wyatt McKillip, James Geihsler Jr, Joshua Sanders, Sattler, and Zeth Lyon each drove in one run to lead Pfeffer Service Bulls.

The Community Hospital Timber Rattlers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Hanson had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Caps contain Storm

Bradley Machine and Pump Storm stayed in it until the end, but the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps pulled away late in a 9-4 victory on Wednesday. The game was tied 4-4 with the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps batting in the top of the fifth when Tristan Campbell doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

The B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps opened up scoring in the first inning. Campbell singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Wyatt Benes led things off on the mound for the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps. He allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out five.

Oliver Corbett was on the hill for the Bradley Machine and Pump Storm. He surrendered one run on one hit over three innings, striking out eight. Espn Hall, Dellevoet, and Lauer all had one hit to lead Bradley Machine and Pump Storm.

Lauer led Bradley Machine and Pump Storm with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 13 stolen bases.

The Tin Caps collected five hits. Campbell and Benjamin Fries all managed multiple hits for the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps. The B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Benes led the way with two.

Benes had the most chances in the field with five.
