The children of  Richard “Dick” Burton of McCook are hosting a card shower and open house in honor of his 80th birthday on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017. His children are Richard and Theresa Burton  of Colby, Kan., Deb and James Walker of Farmington, N.M., and Rhonda and Ken Fries of Hershey, Neb.
