Canadians say thanks

Dear Editor,

My husband, daughter and I were on our way home to Canada, after vacationing in Arizona, when we hit a deer near Colby Kansas

We were shaken up, but physically fine. Our vehicle was not so fine.

The front end was buckled, but we were able to drive it until we pulled into McCook, when the radiator overheated. We were told by the mechanic at Wagner Ford that our car was not driveable

We had no idea what to do next. Thankfully, people like Larry Davis in Service and Wendy Goodenberger were very helpful, kind, reassuring and went out of their way to get things organized for us to get home and for our vehicle to be repaired

A big thank you, Terry McCorkle, at McCorkle car rental who was so helpful in getting us a car to drive home.

Rich, Tricia and Tony from Webb Auto Body. You were always available by phone. You were very helpful, reassuring and very patient and accommodating with us and when dealing with our Canadian insurance system, and while we were working on getting our car transported home

You and the mechanics at The ford dealership did an amazing job repairing our car

We cannot thank you all enough. You made a trying situation so much easier We will always remember the wonderful people in McCook, Nebraska
