'Grannie Annie,' Chaplains say thanks to area

Monday, November 28, 2016

Dear Southwest Nebraska friends,

Thank you once again for the great output of items, money and help packing the 200 boxes we sent to our 4 Chaplains (50 boxes to each one) I am humbled by the support I received by so many.

The first boxes have arrived and receiving chaplain who was somewhere in Iraq, was happy and pleased with the items. This is the note he sent to me.

Hello!

Your boxes were truly a God-send yesterday. For the first time in 9 months we were out of many things, and then your boxes arrived! The soap dishes were PERFECT! People have been asking for those. And the chocolate is being sniffed out from great distances away! After months of not being able to get such simple things, our hearts flow with gratitude. And we have soldiers coming from forward locations that are literally giddy with what they can take. Our shelves are stocked again, thanks to you and your team. Amazing.

Chaplain Nathan

This is why I have a passion for organizing this project. It's people like you that make it happen. "I am only the hands and feet." Blessings to you all.
