60th anniversary
The family of Dale and Norma Crocker of McCook is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple's 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, Sept. 1. They were married in 1956 at St. Catherine's Church in Indianola, Neb. They were both born and raised in the McCook area, with Dale a 1953 graduate of Red Willow High School and Norma a 1953 graduate of McCook High School and a 1955 graduate of McCook Community College. The family will meet in Kearney, Neb., on Saturday, Sept. 3 for a buffet lunch. Their family includes children, Cathy and Dan Winder of Kearney, Barbara and Chuck Henwood of Fort Worth, Texas, Lisa and Rod Horsley of Kearney, Karen and Darrell Wilhelm of Lincoln, Neb.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
