Local players among winners at Paxton

PAXTON, Neb. -- Three local poolplayers were among the winners at the APA Pool League 8-Ball Fun & Cash Singles tournament recently at Swede's, Ole's and Windy Gap in Paxton.

The tournament hosted a full field of 32 shooters and paid cash prizes to the top eight finishers.

Brandon Burton from Indianola (see photo) took first place in the event, Tom Harris from McCook finished second and Shelley Ringleman from McCook took third place.
