101th birthday

The family of Phillip Phares of Grant, Neb., formerly of Palisade, Neb., is requesting a card shower in honor of his 101th birthday on Thursday, June 16. He was born in Hayes County and he and his wife, Rita, who has since passed away, spent nearly all of their lives on a farm four miles east of Palisade. His family includes children, Carol Kraus of Brule, Neb., Richard Phares of Hygiene, Colo., Alan Phares and Barbara Malicky of Columbus, Neb,; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
