We're better than that

We are better than that!

China, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have communist forms of government, suppress women's rights and severely restrict Christian religion. they are also the top tier of countries using the death penalty. Right behind them in killing in the name of the government is the United States!

Not only is capital punishment court cases lengthy and exorbitantly costly in the United States, but the punishment has been found to not be a deterrent to crime and since 1973, 156 people scheduled to be killed by that state have since been found innocent and set free.

We are better than that!

I do want convicted offenders to be held accountable for the wrongs done to their victims and society, but believe a life sentence with no possibility of parole would be just punishment, less expensive, protect society and if a mistake in finding guilty was made, it would be correctable.

The death penalty; we Nebraskans are better than that!

  • We are coming to a time when the USA government will also severely restrict the Christian religion. It's right around the corner. Marxist doctrine and Christianity don't mix. And , we are a socialist country.
