Comments appreciated

The very nice comments by Dick Trail were appreciated when his column mentioned my name in regards to the east end of Hillcrest property.

I am thankful for the many hours of help provided by Councilman Bruce McDowell who is mainly responsible for rehabilitating the area with the lilac bushes that needed thinning and trimming.

The project started over 20 years ago and Hillcrest generously provided the landscaping blocks (about 2,000) as retainer walls creeped along the hillside. Hillcrest and staff are in my heart and if anyone has a question or concern, I suggest they call administrator Nappa or attend a board meeting which is 10 a.m every fourth Tuesday.

Thank you Gazette folks for doing a great job of keeping us informed. I think people enjoy Mr. Trail's column when it reflects on topics as how he and we see it.
