The family of Carol Rempel of Culbertson, Nebraska, is requesting a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday Friday, Dec. 11. She was born in 1925 in Zion, Illinois. She lived in McCook, Nebraska, from 1968 to 1985, where her husband, John, pastored at the Berean Fundamental Church. They returned to McCook in 2005 to live near their daughter. Her family includes her late husband, John Rempel, who passed away in 2009; children, Dan and wife, Ellen Rempel of McCook, Tom and wife, Linda Rempel of Lincoln, Nebraska, Judy and husband, Ted Long of Culbertson, Steve and wife, Sally Rempel of Woodstock Valley, Connecticut; 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
