Rippen birthday

100th birthday

The family of Leland Rippen of McCook is hosting an open house in honor of his 100th birthday. He was born Dec. 13 in Kramer, Nebraska. He lived in Culbertson, Nebraska, from the 1920s until moving to Hillcrest. He was a farmer/rancher all his life. The open house is Saturday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hillcrest Nursing Home, 309 W. Seventh in McCook.
