Lanay Esch of McCook, Nebraska and Waylon Christen of Anselmo, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the bride to be are Mike and Barb Esch of McCook. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Tom and Janie Christen of Anselmo.

Grandparents are Audrey and Harvey Cole of Curtis, Nebraska, Melva Esch of McCook and the late Harold Esch, Wayne and Diane Bryant of McCook, Ruby Christen of Anselmo and the late David Christen, and Elaine Olson of Anselmo and the late Marion Olson.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Southwest High School in Bartley, Nebraska and from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. She works at Grassland Veterinary Hospital in Broken Bow, Nebraska as a vet technician/receptionist.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Anselmo-Merna High school and from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. He is a farmer/rancher.

A Sept. 5, 2015, wedding is planned.
