McCOOK, Neb. -- On Dec. 22, 2014, Dorothy Lucille Eisenbarth, at the age of 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born on May 17, 1915, to John W. and Frances Elizabeth (Albrecht) Dack and was the second of seven children. Dorothy grew up on the family farm and attended rural school district No. 61 near McCook.

She married Syril Lawrence at Atwood, Kansas, on July 19, 1932. They made their home in Trenton. To this marriage one daughter was born, Janice Lawrence.

She later married Lawrence "Dutch" Timothy Eisenbarth at Oberlin, Kansas on March 1, 1938. They made their home in McCook. Dorothy and Dutch both worked at the McCook Army Air Base during World War II. She was a licensed parachute rigger.

In 1953, they moved to the Brentwood shopping area in Denver, Colorado, where they owned and managed a children's store named "Kiddie Klassic." In 1958, due to Dutch's health, they returned to McCook. Dorothy started working for DeGroff's Department Store as a manager and buyer of the ready-to-wear department.

After the death of her husband, Dutch, in 1976, she started working for Nielsen Reality as a bookkeeper and office assistant. On June 6, 1980, she married Richard A. Nielsen. Due to health conditions, she was forced to retire in 1997.

She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and a long-time member of the B.P.O. DOES, holding many different offices including president in 1965. Her main interests were her family, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her three husbands; four brothers, Clyde (Bud) and wife, Grace Dack, John Jr. (Jack) and wife, Agnes Dack, Robert (Bob) and wife, Betty Dack, and Richard A. Dack; sister, Doris Marie Dack; brother-in-law, Raymond Grafel; grandson, Timothy Lee Waddell; granddaughter-in-law, Cindy Lou Waddell; great-great-granddaughters, Shyanne Destiny Waddell and Piper Brooklyn Waddell; niece, Jana Sue Dack Biltoft; nephews, Richard William (Billy) Dack and Dana Dack; and step-sons, Dr. Gary Nielsen and Ronald Nielsen.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice and husband, Kenneth Waddell; step-son, Dr. Michael Nielsen and wife, Linda; grandsons, Kendall and Larry Waddell; granddaughter-in-law, Trudy Waddell Hoffman; sister, Barbara Grafel; sister-in-law, Karen Dack, all of McCook; seven great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, 1-8 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences to the family at www.carpenterbreland.com

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Griger officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
