Help needed

Dear Editor,

McCook Concert Association wishes to thank the Fox Theatre for donating the venue rental for the Sept. 27 concert. We also wish to thank those individuals who donated cash in honor the late Cindy Kohmetscher, a long-time concert association volunteer. We also want to acknowledge the 220 adults and 30 families who purchased season tickets to support the concert series this year.

Unfortunately, we will be several thousand dollars short of necessary funds to pay for this year's expenses. Thanks to the McCook Arts Council for subsidizing the concert series for the past several years.

McCook Concert Association has brought quality entertainment to Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas for over 60 years. It is hoped we can continue bringing great musicians and family friendly concerts to McCook.

The next concert is October 9th. "Six Appeal" has been described as a cross between a vocal ensemble, a comedy group and a rock band. This will be a concert with songs for all ages. Please come and support the concert series so that we can continue to offer this quality entertainment.
