Recycling

Dear Editor,

A current television advertisement follows a discarded plastic milk bottle as it j journeys precariously over a dangerous terrain until it comes to rest at the base of a recycle bin. A passerby leans over, picks up the discarded plastic bottle and deposits it in the recycle bin. In the background a narrator is heard, "Give life to your garbage."

Somewhere else, a living fetus, having all the constituent elements of personhood, is developing in a woman's womb. Suddenly, a self-inflicted abortifacient destroys the life of the developing person and the journey ends. "Death to the living, is a woman's choice." and is the clarion cry of all who profess the culture of death and is the very antithesis of those who profess the culture of life.
