Area students on Doane's dean's list

CRETE, Nebraska -- Doane College has announced its Dean's List for Fall 2013, which includes a number of McCook and area natives. Students must achieve a minimum 3.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to qualify for this academic distinction.

Doane College, with campuses in Crete, Lincoln and Grand Island, is the first private liberal arts and sciences college in Nebraska. It is consistently ranked among the top colleges and universities in the Midwest by Forbes.com, U.S.News & World Report and The Princeton Review.

Arapahoe: Kendra Gardner, senior

Cambridge: Sydney Johnson, junior; Chelsey Moyer, senior

Indianola: Allie McConville, sophomore

Max: Leslee Damrow, junior

McCook: Allison Dobson, sophomore; Andrew Smith, senior; Jessa Sughroue, junior
