Dear Editor,

I wanted to thank all of those who make our "Homeless Vet" fundraiser a success this Veteran's Day. More than $600 was raised that will go toward helping with the financial needs of area veterans. Thanks to Barb Ostrum, VFW Post No. 1652, Rich Barnett at KICX/Open Line and the McCook Gazette.

Special thanks go out to Tyler Schmick at Schmick's Market for letting us "pitch camp" in front of his store. Thank you to all who came forward with their generous donations.

You helped to make this campaign a success.
