Off the rails

Friday, October 18, 2013

Dear Editor,

What, pray, is rational argument that favors a conservative to remain in the Republican Party? Why associate with a political faction that repeatedly demonstrates itself the enterprise of charlatans? Why facilitate the empowerment of Quislings? One might as well place a revolver to the head and pull the trigger -- the end result would not differ, save for the timing of demise. It is but a matter of degree ... How many levels of depravity one chooses to descend before the coup de grace is administered.

There is no honor within the present GOP leadership. They possess neither political nor moral compass. They cannot even commit suicide properly! I am told that "party" obligation requires one to persevere through the storm, and "work hard to win the next election." The irony is that by their habitual retreat the Republicans prove their only constant principle is cowardice. By their crusade against a principled conservative base, they prove themselves the epitome of hypocrisy -- and something far worse.

I will not keep silent in deference to a perverted sense of party affiliation. I refuse to make excuses for the gutless, politically expedient den of thieves entrenched within the GOP. I am of no mind to keep company with Quislings, or make peace with unscrupulous naves who happily murder a nation for 30 pieces of silver. There seems no principle of limited government that these parasites will not betray for their precious place in establishment's house of whores. America deserves better men.

How long shall America endure this farcical game of faction, its single goal being our subservience to an omnipotent central government, whose intrigues have no discernable difference from the discredited political ideology that was the Soviet empire? We watch in disbelief as our Constitutional Republic crumbles, its demise not the result of chance electoral process, but rather the work of subversion by capitulation to those whose object is to shape a new political order -- one having no semblance to limited government. Such infamy is accomplished only with the willful cooperation of both Democrat and Republican "bosses." Do not call these traitors "leaders," for they deserve no recognition that may be construed to confer a title of honor. Americans are but pawns in their diabolical game of deception.

The charge is proven by the observation that we never stray off the tracks that lead to certain death for this great venture in self-governance.

Democrats serve as the "left" rail, Republicans are the "right" -- and their deeds of back-room mischief provide the wooden ties. The train is our Grand Republic, whose locomotive, though operated by different crew from time to time, is never permitted to jump the rails -- and its passengers are forbidden to disembark. The train may slow, stop, or even reverse -- but NEVER does it leave the rails to follow a course other than where the tracks traverse. Scenery may change, but the journey remains a constant push towards communism. "We the People" are locked in a string of rail cars, separated by party affiliation: some ride in fancy Pullmans, some ride coach, and others prefer the dens of hobos -- whose only desire is the "free ride." No matter our passage, we all ride the same rails to the nightmare of socialist utopia. The only "change" concerns which crew of political conductors will stamp our ticket at the next electoral stop. The owners of this railroad are a perpetual ruling class of sociopaths -- an oligarchy of Robber Barons, who have so thoroughly seduced Americans with tall tales of a free ride to the "promise land of plenty" that the populace prefers to be enthralled with changes in scenery, rather than consider that their "free ride" terminates in a death plunge over the never to be finished trestle at Lenin's Gorge.

Even as a growing number of Americans have pulled back the curtain, refusing the enticements of the Robber Barons and jumping free from the speeding train, yet the majority still work the chain gang of the party bosses -- unwilling to revolt, too apathetic to tear up the rails of indentured servitude, and too complacent to return to the open road of self-governance. They continue to lay track for their "free ride" to the ash heap of history. How ironic the Party of Lincoln should help forge the chains of slavery!

The GOP has run its last turn-tail gallop to the barn. To hand over total control to a Marxist tyrant ... To slavishly make deals with a wicked servant -- whose sole design is to ransack, pillage and rape our nation in retribution for his own self-imposed victimhood -- marks the end of the line for me. I am off this train.

Republican "bosses" decided to surrender every vestige of our hard-won freedom. They did more than capitulate to an unsympathetic narcissist ... They sold out the American Republic -- lock, stock and barrel. They condemned the American People to a slow agonizing death under the brutal yoke of communism. Whether something honorable rises from the dust of the former united States of America is up to those who survive their turn in the gulags. Pray they are strong to resist the siren call of political factions.

  • The GOP did make a mistake handing everything over to a Marxist tyrant like Cruz. One needs to take a second look at the Tea Party and the people running it.

  • Correct S&P, ol' Brucie needs to calm down, he's going to blow a gasket.......LOL.

As far as the people running the teaparty, it was all started by the Koch brothers.

  • I have always observed whenever the Koch brothers are mentioned, someone has lost the debate. Thank you s&p1958 and fit2btied for proving that argument.

You can redeem yourselves by the existence of proof. Short of that, get lost.
