Frances Cole

90th birthday

The family of Frances Cole of Rapid City, South Dakota, formerly of McCook, Nebraska, invites acquaintances to surprise her for her 90th birthday by either attending an open house at Knollwood United Methodist Church in Rapid City, on Sept. 28th between 2 and 4 p.m., or sending cards to Frances Cole, c/o Betty Hayford, 810 Rosilee Lane, Rapid City, SD 57701. Frances was born in England but moved to North Platte, Nebraska, to join her husband, Carl Cole, after World War II. She lived in North Platte and McCook, Nebraska, from 1946 until moving to be close to her daughter in 2008. She was a long-time member of Kiwanis and supported her husband during his tenure as Kiwanis Lt. Governor in his many travels around the state. Carl passed away in 1996 as a result of an automobile accident. Frances was born in Middlesex, London, on Oct. 26, 1923. If you remember her, please come to the open house or drop her a card. The only way to surprise this spry 90-year-old is to help her celebrate a month early.
