Dear Editor,

The Fourth of July is rapidly approaching and now is the time to buy your fireworks. The cost is skyrocketing. By saving 1 percent of your paycheck each week, in one year you would have enough money to buy 100 M-80s made in the USA.

Do not purchase fireworks made in communist China. They are cheap and unreliable. Last year, I used only American made and had zero-percent duds. Only one rocket went off sideways and killed my dog.
