Fort Hays State honors released

HAYS, Kansas -- Nebraska students are among the 1,096 named to the Deans Honor Roll by the deans of Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kan., for the spring 2013 semester.

The list includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and virtual students are eligible.

Area students honored include:

Bartley: Tye T. Smith, a graduate of McCook High School, is a junior majoring in agricultural business.

Cambridge: Sierra Christiana Deterding, a graduate of Southwest High School, is a sophomore majoring in information networking and telecommunications (Web development).

Hayes Center: Rebecca K. Gigax, a graduate of Hayes Center High School, is a senior majoring in elementary education.

McCook: Tyler Morgan Hayes, a graduate of McCook High School, is a senior majoring in organizational leadership.

Natalie Sis, a graduate of McCook High School, is a sophomore majoring in nursing.

Oxford (68967): Christine Anja Bohl, a graduate of Southern Valley High School, is a senior majoring in radiologic technology.
