Beautiful facility

Taking the Hillcrest open house tour Sept. 13, was a wonderful experience and the facility is beautiful. (Thank you Peggy Rogers.) The first thought that comes to mind -- Hillcrest is a home that reflects uncondidtional love by its staff for residents and family because I see this every time I slip in the back door to get a garden tool. Coming from my first life in newspapering, I respect the press and look forward to any opportunity to take them a plate of cookies for good work. I respect persons on a board that have many responsibilities that are beyond comprehension. September reminds us of a year that is winding down, kind of like some of us retirees. It is also a moment to remember and appreciate the time ahead with the knowledge, that if needed, we have Hillcrest and a fantastic staff that could make everyone, including Eldon Moore and old Scrooge, feel good.
