Letter to the Editor

Enough already

Wednesday, August 29, 2012

Dear Editor,

I am writing this letter to you in response to Justin Davis. I HIGHLY agree with him, there is way too much focus on him and his personal life. He is entitled to his privacy and home life. For heaven's sake, he is not a actor on TV or a politician. This man is a civil servant to the public as a police officer, who is paid to serve and protect.

For the past two weeks we have heard enough of Prince William and his fun in Las Vegas and his "nude" pictures, this man went to Las Vegas and had some fun, he is a human. But the news media made a point to have it broadcast on TV every day and after some time this gets annoying.

Ever since Mitt Romney announced he was running for office of the President all we heard was the fact that he is a Mormon. Why is it so important that we know what religion he is when the inportant issue is what plans he has if he is elected into office.

The same thing happened when President Kennedy ran for office, over his Catholic religion, but as you recall he became president of the United States.

President Clinton made a big mistake when he was in office and news media could not leave it alone and move on.

So let's do the same for Justin Davis. He does his job that he gets paid for and he does it well and he made a mistake, so let's just leave him alone and move on. Thank you,

Kevin Dunn

Holbrook, Nebraska

P.S. I am a bad speller so maybe the editor can correct all my mistakes. Remember, I am human too.
