More than 150 new students began orientation at McCook Community College this morning. Here Benjamin Greer leads students in ice-breaker exercises while explaining intra-mural activities. Students were led through a variety of activities aimed at familiarizing them with the campus, the facilities and programs. A business fair and student organization booths were set up Monday afternoon with students invited to Free Swim Night at the Ed Thomas YMCA. Welcome Week activities continue throughout the week including the first varsity competition in the new Event Center Wednesday when the MCC volleyball team plays NCTA-Curtis in "White-Out" night at 7 p.m. Night classes began Monday with all regular classes starting Tuesday.
