Bernard Elbert VFW Post 1652 Ladies Auxiliary meet

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Bernard Elbert VFW Post 1652 Ladies Auxiliary met with seven members present. Krystal Downing called the meeting to order and prayer was said.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Jeannine Rinehart gave the treasurer report it was approved as read.

Jeannine announced the delegation fees of $9 were paid and the dues are now $18.50.

May 18 will be the last raffle during bingo on Friday nights until September. Each member is ask to bring one item to the raffle. Carmen Custer said they will need more monies which they use for bingo at Willow Ridge. This was approved.

A donation was made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Joann Nemechek. She expressed her gratitude.

Ceci Kotschwar installed the newly elected officers for 2012-13. Ceci won the drawing giving it to the cancer fund.

The next meeting is June 19, with Mary O. serving.

The meeting closed with prayer.
