Israeli tourism

What I said about Israel's Ministry of Tourism in my letter of Jan. 13-15 must have confused you.

The Ministry of Tourism is not causing tension in Israel. Israel depends on it to provide safety for visitors to their country.

Tourism gives a huge economic boost to Israel's economy.

In 2010, 2.38 million people saw biblical and historic sites in Israel. On Good Friday, 2011 Christian Pilgrims were able to walk safely along the route of the Via Del Rosa. Glen Beck, a former employee of Fox News, organized a big group of tourists from the U.S. In August 2012, they saw Israel's holy sites while he lectured to them about "restoring Israel."

Meanwhile, in 2011 and 2012, the Jeopardy Clue Crew has presented clues to contestants that they gathered in Israel. This was made possible with help from Israel's Ministry of Tourism.
