Christmas magic

Friday, December 23, 2011

Dear Editor,

Have you stopped long enough to find the magic? You really have to look for it. It gets lost in among the stuff.

We need faith to believe that all things are possible with God. Due to an operation, I have missed out on my usual hubub, and the excitement that goes with it. But I saw a program, that everyone was looking for the Christmas magic.

Well, I hope I continue to enjoy the joy I have found.

I have been blessed by the most wonderful caregivers at the McCook hospital and then at Hillcrest Nursing Home for rehab.

I have had the joy of meeting some wonderful people.

The love that the employees show to everyone is such a blessing to me. The peace I found in just being able to celebrate Jesus in a whole new way is wonderful.

I hope you found the magic in Christmas.

Thank you to all of God's special angels who do so much for others. They truly have found the magic in serving others.

Stop and take another look. The magic is faith, hope, joy, peace and love when you celebrate Jesus. He is the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas to all and God bless you everyone.

Alta Keating,

Palisade, Nebraska

  • Merry Christmas to you and yours, Alta. You know the 'Reason, for the Season,' so I know you will have a Very Merry time.

  • Take care Alta! Let God do His work on you. Let God do His work through the physical therapists. And be patient!

    God Bless.
