Letter to the Editor

Take the siesta figure, too

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Dear Editor,

To those who decided my cement donkey would look better in their yard -- the accompanying siesta-taking figure just doesn't look right without his donkey‚ so I ask that you either return my donkey or come get his companion -- but bring reinforcements -- that sucker is heavy!

I apologize for the absence of the cart the donkey once pulled, but it deteriorated -- as my faith in the honesty of my fellow man has!

I hope you enjoy the donkey as much as I did!

Donkeyless,

Bev Guthrie,

Holbrook

  • Bev,

I'll keep an eye out for a lone donkey. Sorry to see that you were pillaged, undoubtedly for no more reason that to see if they could get away with it.

I hope your figurines will again be reunited.
