Kids ask for help

Dear Editor,

The fourth grade at Aviston elementary, located in southern Illinois, is learning about the United States and the different environments, climates, resources and highlights found in each region. The kids in the class think it would be fun to receive postcards, souvenirs, resources or any information about our great country from each of the 50 states.

We hope that people who read this letter will be interested in mailing our class items pertaining to their state.

Would you please publish my letter to help in my class learning experience?

Our third grade class is currently studying the different landforms of the United States. I am asking for your help. I would like people to send me a postcard from your state showing me the different landforms in your area. I will share all information received with my class. I would like to thank each person who helps me out with this fun and exciting project.
