Steer, Higel engagement

Lindsay Jo Steer and Jeffrey Jon Higel

Lindsay Jo Steer of Indianola and Jeffrey Jon Higel of rural Kenesaw, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Kaye Linner of Hendley, Nebraska and Jim and Cheryl Higel of Hebron, Nebraska. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Wendell and Goldie Wentling of Hendley.

The bride-to-be graduated from Republican Valley High School and is a Culinary Arts graduate of Central Community College Hastings Campus. She is an instructor at the college in the Culinary Arts Department.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Bruning/Davenport High School and Hastings College with a Bachelor's Degree in communications, he was also a member of the Bronco football team. He is employeed by Morton Buildings in Minden.

An outdoor wedding is scheduled for Aug. 14, 2010, at Lovewell Lake.

The couple will honeymoon in the Florida Keys.
