Otto Nilsson of Omaha, founder of Automotive Sales and Service in McCook, celebrates his 93rd birthday Saturday, April 3. Otto was born in Sweden in 1917 and immigrated to America, to Omaha, in 1935. He and his wife, Frances, moved to McCook to open an automotive parts sales and service outlet in 1950. In the business's 59th year, Otto passed Automotive on to his daughter, Annette Irwin, who has moved with her husband, Bill, from Omaha to McCook. Otto's son, Eric, lives in Oakland, Iowa.
