Letter to the Editor

Why census questions on race?

Monday, March 8, 2010

Dear Editor,

We are supposed to be one nation, one people. If you're are in business, you are required to be colorblind, by law.

Then why is it the Census wants to know what nationality and what color you are?

Let us throw more fuel on the fires of racism.

Bill Coe,

Max

  • I answered as slose as I could get with the options available, by stating that I was White/Indian. That aught to confuse-um. I couldn't find: 'American, Mutt.'
