Tines, Hampton engagement

Parents of the couple are William "Dude" and Alice Tines of Venango and Don and Teresa Hampton of Mullen.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Grant High School and has numerous relatives and friends in Southwest Nebraska. She is a surgical technician at Lincoln Surgical Hospital.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 Mullen High School graduate. He is an engineer with Union Pacific Railroad.

A Jan. 9, 2010, ceremony is planned at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Grant.
