What we thought

In regard to Mr. Trail's article about Mr. Nelson, he wrote what most of us were thinking, but did not say anything. We were betrayed by Mr. Nelson -- he is a Democrat first, a Nebraskan second. All you had to do (was) watch him and listen to what he had to say and you knew he as going to vote YES. No one seems to get the message, we do not want the government to run our health insurance. As for the payoff, (it) does not matter if it did not happen, it was just the way it was done. Can't help but feel AARP and AMA were promised something to back the program.

It's not for the people any more, it's "what's in it for me"!
