Letter to the Editor

Mind your manners

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Dear Editor,

Where's the good manners when you're talking about the president of the United States? ("Nobel Peace Prize triumph of style over substance" Weekend Oct. 9-11, 2009)

The Nobel Prize deserves a "congratulations, Mr. President" not "unproven commodity" how awful. You could give both sides.

This is the last .75 you will receive from me.

Martha Jorgensen,

Curtis

I don't really see any hatred or anger voiced by Sceptre, just the facts.

Most everyone knows the Nobel Prize won by Obama is a joke!! Nobel Peace prizes are now being given away as a prize in Cracker Jack packages.

  • Not a day goes by where I haven't asked myself: "Who threatens to quit paying money for something that publishes something they don't like, when their opposing view to that something is also published?" I'll never quite understand why people shoot the paper for something an unrelated person writes.

  • It'll be a great day in society when people like fredd can admit their own faults instead of clamoring to their god of politics, who teaches that all criticisms should be thrown back in the faces of the critics. It will also be a great day when people find better things to do than frequent newspaper sites for the purpose of presenting the unpopular view with a superior attitude.
