Misty Howerter and Jason Houston of Omaha announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Greg and Cindy Howerter of Cambridge, Jeff and Vicki Houston of Kearney and Pam and Jon Petersen of Hastings.

A June 26, 2009, ceremony is planned at The Fountains Ballroom in Glenwood, Iowa.
