Recessed enlightenment

Dear Editor,
The present economic crisis has reached catastrophic proportion. The pet industry is in a cataclysm. The shipping industry is sinking, the tire industry has gone flat and the construction industry has nearly collapsed.
Many businesses, such as ice cream, will be frozen.
The accounting profession should be held accountable.
The peanuts we taxpayers pay those politicians to deliver their otiose speeches is outrageous.
