Wednesday, February 18, 2009

There's no better time than when money's tight to get the most bang for your buck.

That's the opportunity attendees at this weekend's Home and Leisure Show will have at the Army Reserve Training Center on Airport Road.

About 66 booths and 75 vendors, from as far away as Lincoln, Broken Bow, Grand Island, Fairbury and Naponee, plus Haxton, Otis, Fort Morgan and Wray, Colo., will have displays on everything from home electronics to landscaping products, and new this year will be special programs on innovative ways to use cabinetry in your home, organize your closets, save energy in your home or business, or look your best.

The show will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $2, which also entitles each visitor to register to win one of two $250 certificates to be spent with home show vendors.

Take time to visit the Home and Leisure Show this weekend and research new products that are available. You'll be able to make wiser decisions on how to spend your hard-earned dollars.
