Successful ringing

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Salvation Army and the Red Willow County Ministerial Association, I would like to thank everyone in the community for a successful bell ringing session during this past December. This includes all of the groups, organizations, and individuals who gave of their time during the busy Christmas season.

This year, in spite of the cold weather and the economy, we were able to raise $9,700.00, which is $200 over last year.

The individuals and groups that helped include the following: Rev. Jon Albrecht, Jerry Anderson, Lynda Baumbauch, Rev. Clark Bates, Ted Blythman, Rev. Finally, Wal-Mart and Tier One Bank are to be commended. Wal-Mart provided the site for the bell ringing and Tier One Bank handled the deposits.
