McCook Bison JV wrestlers compete at Sutherland; Rogers places 1st

SUTHERLAND -- Tuesday night the McCook High School junior varsity wrestling team competed in the Sutherland JV tournament.

Eight of the 10 McCook wrestlers that competed placed in the top four in their weight classes and earned medals.

The only champion for the Bison on Tuesday was Tyler Rogers.

"It's good to see the younger wrestlers continue to improve and cut down on the mistakes that they were making earlier in the year," said McCook wrestling coach Nick Umscheid.

"You can definitely see that the JV wrestlers are improving every week and gaining much needed experience."
