Letter to the Editor

So long, Fourth

Monday, July 7, 2008

Dear Editor,

As the Fourth of July sadly comes to an end, it is so boring not to have your eardrums being broken. I hope all this noise means something.

To me, it means: Freedom. And, the idea of free enterprise. A country where thugs, dictators, evil-doers, terrorists, suspected millitants, members or former members of Saddam Hussen's evil brutal fascist empire have been killed, taken in to custody or seriously wounded.

The peace mission has been accomplished. Let us hope and pray the communists of China are not smuggling in illegal fireworks.

Throw away all your money on "made in USA" products. Unless you can buy them cheaper.

Stephen Stramel,

McCook
