What do you think about the 44 old trees being cut down in Norris Park?

Wednesday, February 27, 2008

If they have a good reason, it's okay. It will help the kids who play football in the park.

Christy Eder

If they're diseased, it's time for them to go.

Mel Holsten

They can't be treated so I guess they have to go so we can do the whole thing over again in 50 years.

Boni Myer

I think it's better for them to come down. Hopefully they'll plant new ones.

Kristin Pump

It will change the appearance of the park but it's something that needs to be done.

Peg Smalley

I hate to see them go but it looks like it's essential.

Cassie Spencer (expecting twins in June)

If they're doing it for a safety reason, then it's okay, I guess.

  • If they have a lot of dead limbs or diseased, I think they need to be cut down, cut into 16" logs and neatly piled on the west side of my shop.
