Rang their bells

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Salvation Army and the Red Willow County Ministerial Association, I would like to thank everyone in the community for a successful bell ringing session.

This includes all of the groups, organizations, and individuals who gave of their time during the busy Christmas season. This year, in spite of the cold and snowy weather, we were able to raise $9,500.

The individuals and groups who helped include the following: Rev. Jon Albrecht, Mike Anthony, Ted Blythman, Marilyn Brandt, Evangelical Free Church, Jean Coach, Family Frolic Square Dancers, Wanda Miller, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Paul Sheets, Sharon Foster, Lish Garcia, Kay Hardin, Hillcrest Nursing Home, Alma Hoyt, Arlene Lenser, Masonic Lodge, McCook Christian Church Members, McCook Cordials, McCook Harvest Church Members, McCook Harvest Church Youth Group, McCook Theater Association, Dee Premer, Nancy Mousel, Nazarene Church, David Noe, Sam and Greg Robert, McCook Red Willow County Ministerial Association, McCook Sertoma Club, St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Logan Tschacher, United Methodist Church Members, United Methodist Church Youth Group.

Finally, Wal-Mart and TierOne Bank are to be commended. Wal-Mart provided the site for the bell ringing and TierOne Bank handled the deposits.
