Great volunteers

Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to all of the volunteers that gave of themselves and their time to work the B-6 District Track meet this past Thursday here in McCook.

Many of you had to take off time from work, school and other important things to help us out. As proud as I was of the efforts of our boys and girls track teams, I was equally proud of the diligent efforts of all the people that were a part of putting on that great show!

The schools that attended gave you rave reviews and many of them made it clear that they would like to come here every year, just because we put on such a quality meet. This is all due to the fact that we have a lot of people here in McCook that really care about our kids and the sport of track and field.

Once again, on behalf of McCook Schools and Bison Track we thank you very much!
