Shameful cemetery

Just back from visiting the McCook Cemeterys! What a horrible mess the small one, Riverview, is in. Weeds everywhere you look, the dandilions just covering everything; the weeds along the fences are getting so high they'll be a privacy fence in a few weeks.

McCook City Council, etc., should be so ashamed at the condition of it. It was pretty hard to take to see our loved ones' graves in such terrible condition!

In the Memorial Cemetery, there are several graves that were put there when the weather was bad, but now they could be sodded. The one is starting to sink in pretty bad.

McCook is getting ready to celebrate 125 years. The Riverview looks like its been neglected for 125 years!

We hope to be back by Memorial Day, and only a miracle can improve it by then.

Shame, shame!
