Kids are loved

Wednesday, May 2, 2007

Dear Editor,

I have noticed children playing various games; soccer, running games, skating or bike-riding in our parks. Three or four adults play with them and teach them the rules of the game.

The adults give of themselves and keep the kids safe, not to mention the sunshine and fresh air everyone involved is getting. The children appear to be 6 to 10 years old.

Maybe they are a group of neighborhood children or a class from a Sunday School having a fun time. It could be a good way to be celebrating a birthday.

These children will remember many years later the fun time they had while playing together, just being kids in their hometown parks.

Along with the summer program of softball and baseball, our children have many reasons to feel loved.
