Letter to the Editor

Thanks, Richard Budig

Dear Editor,

Read in March 30-April 5, Preview the wonderful thing Richard Budig of Skiatook, Okla., is doing by honoring each fallen soldier from Nebraska who gave their life for ours in the Iraq conflict.

What a wonderful thing to present to their families for the sacrifices these soldiers have given for us here in the U.S.A.

We are also impressed with all the motorcycles honoring our fallen soldiers by keeping the protesters away from the families and the funeral services.

I would think they would be ashamed to show their faces knowing these soldiers died protecting those of us at home (even them).

They do not dare give up on Iraq until the job is complete or we'll have more 9-11s again.

My hat goes off to Mr. Budig for his paintings of the soldiers to their families. What a big heart he must have. God will pay him back in heaven.

To the motorcycle guard group, thank you for your time served, and helping those families at such a hard and sad time in their lives.

What a pride the families will have honoring their soldiers they lost by such as grand gift.

Thank you, Mr. Budig.

Wayne and Sharon Raasch,

Champion
