Driving the 'lane'

Dear Editor,

I grew up in Indianola and my parents always took us to see Santa Claus Lane when I was a child.

I was very concerned when I read earlier that some people felt it was time to do away with this tradition.

It was so wonderful to see a family step in to restore Santa Claus Lane. I haven't lived in the McCook area for many years but do get back occasionally for visits and if we are there during the holidays we ALWAYS make it a point to drive the "Lane." Thanks to the McConnell's.
